Mornings - coffee or shower first?

Good morning 🙂 which one wakes you up more?

I always wash my hair and have a good scrub at night, so my shower in the morning is just a really quick freshen up.. but I can't function without a brew and my breakfast, so I'll do that first, then shower/teeth/dressed. I can definitely never get out of the house in a hurry!

Coffee in the shower?

Can you imagine how amazing a cup of tea in the shower would be? If they made handy mug holders, I would totally buy one.

Get up, plodge downstairs, switch kettle on, marshall 3 dogs out to do wees. Make coffee and take it upstairs back to bed. Drink coffee in middle of dog pile. Then up and shower. Wishing I had coffeemaid and dog flap.

Work day, I get up and go straight for a shower. Get dressed, day hello to the dog then leave immediately.

Non work day, if I have stuff to do out of the house as above, otherwise I sit downstairs for a bit in my dressing gown then get showered.

I drink neither tea or coffee and like to be up and about for a good hour before I eat anything.

I get up and go straight in the shower. Then go downstairs once I'm dressed/make up done and put the kettle on. Probably another half an hour after that until I actually make the tea!

Coffee bought en route to work, normally buy some cake as well, makes me very popular with our three office dogs when there are crumbs to be had.

Never coffee in the morning.
Shower first if its a work day, I get up at 5.30 and am out the door at 5.50 so no time to waste.
Tea first if its a workfree day - up at 6.15 with the toddler, downstairs, change his nappy and boil the kettle. DC1 woken up at 7, provide breakfasts then quick shower.

Shower although my coffee isn’t caffeinated it’s more the ritual and that I like it
