Hi I will try provide as much detail without being outing.
My dsis began a relationship with a man about a month ago. Straight from the off he was displaying controlling behaviours such as reading her messages and making her delete males off her social media. I spoke to dsis about this who assured me all was fine.
My dsis has 2 children and last week rang me to say he'd been violent and pinned her up against the wall all while the kids were there and had happened 3 times the previous weeks.
The police were called and they took a statement. Today my dsis has said she wants to 'talk' to him and she lied in her statement and it was just a fight.
Social services spoke to her and shut the case straight away but surely she's now not safeguarding her children if she let's him back?
I would report to social if I needed but thought I'd see if I'm approaching this all wrong, help!
