Is tumble drying jeans that bad ?

Wear my jeans for about a week before washing at 30c.

Now it's colder I don't want to be drying clothes indoors as we end up with mould. It's fine in the warmer months but to cold now .
No outside drying space.
Is tumble drying going to ruin the fit and shape? I suppose I can get away with hanging only my jeans up once a week but they take forever to dry.

Makes them shrink, I’ve found (so I don’t)

I've never had a problem tumble drying jeans

Depends on the fabric. I have cheapy jeans with a stretch element to them, tumbling leaves them very badly creased and probably wears the fabric. (I only did it once... ) DH has traditional heavy denim jeans which tumble like a dream.

I always tumble my jeans inside out. Makes them nice and tight initially and for me, prolongs their life.

I worried about this too as I wear jeans every day
I tumble mine on a delicate setting inside out and they're all fine
For the record I wear Top shop Jamie's

Check the label for plastics in the weave, and set the temperature accordingly. If they're stretchy you'll need it to be pretty low else you'll trash them.
