What is your food weakness?

Mine is currently sourdough bloomer. I ate a whole one yesterday BlushNot all in one go but I seem to be addicted to thick slices toasted and spread with kerrygold butter. My exercise ability has been greatly reduced for the past 6 weeks due to viruses and sinusitis and weather and now my asthma is bad so I'm still unable to get on my bike and just want to stuff my face with sourdough. The Co-op one is the best.
I need help!

Crisps. Peanuts. Anything salty. Especially when drinking wine. Or gin and tonics.

Neolara · 12/11/2019 21:25

Cake.

willowmelangell · 12/11/2019 21:38

Crisps. (sharing bags, um...no, mine)
Nuts. (crunchy, salty, yummy, moreish, so sad when they are gone)
Cheese. (on crackers, melted to crispiness, sliced, grated over..anything)

CatUnderTheStairs · 12/11/2019 21:43

Salt and vinegar crisps
Cheese and crackers
Fresh bead and butter
Toast

AgeLikeWine · 12/11/2019 21:53

Sandwiches. The simpler the better, ideally on white bread. I have been known to grab a couple of packs and devour them in the car.

SallyWD · 12/11/2019 21:54

Cheese, butter, bread, crisps. Not at all interested in sweet foods.

AudTheDeepMinded · 12/11/2019 22:05

Chips with cheese and mayo
Any decent bread with proper butter (Tesco do a cranberry and nut one, OMG!)
Cream
All the carbs!

midsomermurderess · 12/11/2019 22:09

Dr Karg Emmental and Pumpkin Seed Crispbread.

ManonBlackbeak · 12/11/2019 22:14

Pizza
Nutella
Cheese
Peanut Butter.

NotMeNoNo · 12/11/2019 22:17

I've only recently noticed this. Anything baked with dried fruit - hot cross bun, fruit loaf, raisin cookie, Garibaldi biscuits, mince pies, date slice.
That fig and walnut loaf mentioned will probably do me in.

GrotbagsBetterLookingSister · 12/11/2019 22:27

I'm just cooking some pains au chocolat the came from either Iceland or Tesco. The kitchen smells lovely!

ICouldBeVotingTactically · 12/11/2019 22:29

Cheese
Marzipan
Salty, buttery home made popcorn

OMGshefoundmeout · 12/11/2019 22:30

Butter. On anything, bread, pasta, potatoes, crumpets. Lots and lots of butter.

And cream - if there’s nothing in the house to pour it over I will eat it out of the tub with a spoon.

I will never be vegan.

Stravapalava · 12/11/2019 22:31

Cheap crisps - chipsticks, wotsits, skips etc
Bombay mix
And chocolate - once I start I can't stop.

Impatientwino · 12/11/2019 22:32

Chips - the saltier the better
Chorizo
Avocado
Pickled onions
Chillies
Wine
Artichokes - I'm not sure how many of the marinated ones I could eat but I'm fairly certain it would be enough to make me sick

Looking at this list it's basically my diet! Grin

AgentCooper · 12/11/2019 22:33

I’m with you on sourdough OP. The one from Lidl is stunning. My two year old DS is hooked too. Every time we enter Lidl he starts shouting WANT SOFA DOOR Grin

Impatientwino · 12/11/2019 22:33

Oh yes and onion ring crisps

I sometimes eat them in sandwiches mmmm

Nothing else just butter and the crisps!

QueSera · 12/11/2019 22:34

Crisps
Crisps
Crisps
Etc

JessicaRarebit · 12/11/2019 22:36

Cake/desserts - anything and everything!
Cheese - I can eat it by the block!

JessicaRarebit · 12/11/2019 22:37

DP says I should amend to also add chillies as his head almost exploded this evening after a very spicy curry 😂😂😂😂 I put chillies in basically everything.

Bunnylady53 · 12/11/2019 22:48

I’m so hungry now! My latest thing is party rings - incredibly moreish! I have found since quitting the demon drink that I don’t crave stuff quite so much. I also ate lots after several glasses of wine & it wasn’t particularly healthy food either.

Bunnylady53 · 12/11/2019 22:49

Always not also

theSnuffster · 12/11/2019 22:59

Bread. I love a French stick/ nice crusty rolls/ 'posh' loaf from the bakery..... But part-baked baguettes are the best as I can eat them while they're still warm. With plenty of country life butter. Cream crackers are a problem too, I can't just have a couple.

And mints. I love them. All types.

Luckingfovely · 12/11/2019 23:15

@AudTheDeepMinded oh that cranberry loaf from the bigger Tesco's is close to best thing in the world! Spread with salty butter the same thickness as the bread!

And apart from that, like most people on this thread it seems - anything salty! S&V anything but Pringles in particular.

And cheese. Strong and gooey. And anything at all with truffle in it!

findingmyfeet12 · 12/11/2019 23:24

Crisps (preferably prawn cocktail)
Coke
Potatoes
