Hi all, i had the implant out 10 weeks ago and havent had a period since. I had very faint positive tests around 7/8 weeks ago that turned back negative. They started going positive again around 4/5 weeks ago but still very faint. This past week they have been getting darker and darker and confirmed with clear blue digital 3 days ago.... my question is how far along would i be? I carnt go by last period as that was over a year ago. I carnt go by date i had my implant out as im sure im not 10/11 weeks.... what do i do? Thanks in advance

I reckon call your GP surgery to get your booking in appt and scan as soon as they can do it, and they'll work out the date from there

I think you need a scan to know for sure. I would call the midwife booking in line and explain what is going on and that you had your implant out 10 weeks ago, and could potentially already be 10 weeks pregnant. Probably you aren't, but a positive pregnancy test 8 weeks ago + 4 weeks for a normal cycle, would date you at 12 weeks. You obviously aren't this pregnant, but something odd is going on. It isn't normal for pregnancy tests to go positive and then negative and then positive again, and there are other reasons you could get a positive test (some ovarian cysts can cause a pregnancy test to go faintly positive). These are things you need to check out, given you have no idea of your dates. If they aren't able to get you in to the EPU for a scan, I personally would book one privately. It wouldn't take 4-5 weeks for a pregnancy test to darken in a normal, healthy pregnancy.
