Have to decide in the next 10m and I’m dithering! Big BIG future of team existing meeting (my job to keep them existing so not an observer no way to Skype or rearrange), but it’s a 2hr drive away.

I’m under flood warning, it’s raining again...

Very Unlikely to hit my house, they don’t think this bout of rain will get heavy enough to make it worse but can’t be sure. BUT house is an island, as in, all roads in and out could very easily close, most already are, and I have 3 kids at home.

Would you go?

I'd go, keep an eye on the weather then leave early if needed!

I assume there's someone there with the kids!

I'd go but as pp said leave if you need to.

I'm guessing you have decided already but, Just want to say, as long as the children have a responsible adult with them who would know what to do in a emergency then don't feel guilty.

We have been on flood warning for over a week and so far so good (And my city has had bad floods in the past) it's just a warning for a possible event, not a given.

Flood warning - no.
Flood alert - yes.

Presume you've decided by now!
