Confused about roundabout

See attached image. Why does it say take the 5th exit (I.e go around the entire roundabout rather than simply first exit?

Any help appreciated. Thank you

Looking at it on street view no reason as I can see.

Is there an option to say what vehicle you are driving and if so is it correct? There's a roundabout near here that lorries are meant to go all the way around like that instead of trying to just take the first exit as the turn is too tight for a lorry. Could it be something like that?

When my DH finally got the message that I was in labour & had to navigate rush hour traffic to get to me, he decided to follow a similar course to the photo in order to get to me quicker. I hate queue jumpers like every other self respecting Brit but I am still grateful for his quick thinking that day. It's possible there are drivers doing this regularly & messing with the Google map algorithm?

Giggling at the suggestion that it's downhill. This is in the heart of the Fens and is as flat as flat can be!
