Things you'd love to do if you were single!

I've not long separated from my husband and have been trying to remind myself about the positive side of being single, obviously aside from not having to deal with the heavy draining misery!

So far I've got:

Watch whatever I want on TV, when I want

Stock the fridge full of goodies and know they won't disappear

Starfish in the bed

Have the light on to read for as late as I like

Buy the pink toaster I wanted

Have a 2 hour bath

See my girlfriends as often as I want without feeling guilty

Flirt with guy at the gym 😂

Let me know yours

Omg the boyfriend pillow is brilliant, even better that it doesn't snore or fart!

Survive on cheese sandwiches (and regret it after a couple of days later in the bathroom).

Do VSO or whatever the modern day equivalent is these days.

Buy another horse and live in poverty to support two of them.

Possibly become an anchoress.

I am quite tempted by the boyfriend pillow Grin If I can solve the hugging issue I genuinely have no need for a man! The only thing holding me back is that I’m getting older now (I’m 50 but I feel old!) and have considered the possibility of dying in the night and I would feel a bit mortified to think of someone finding me like that! But then I guess I wouldn’t be around to see people’s reactions!

Thanks for all of these! A good reminder of the positives and hurrah no sopping were bathroom every morning and I can play my music without being judged for loving cheesy pop!

I'm going to buy myself a massive bunch of flowers later too :)

Book into a London Hotel and then do whatever I want for a week, sightseeing, spa, theatre, galleries....

No 'man piles'around the house.... you know the ones that accumulate... a bunch of coins and scrunched up receipts on the bedside table, bettries and ear phones on the kitchen worktop and muddy boots and carrier bags of crap in the hallway...
