Sharp head pain in sex

Has anyone else had this? Twice last week while approaching orgasm I had a sharp pain in the back of my head as if being kicked in the head by a horse, followed by throbbing and aching for some hours. It was really scarey. I went to see my GP and she sent me to A and E who did a CT scan and lumbar puncture and said all was OK, no brain bleed etc.
Became quite hardened to explaining it to various medical personnel.
So now what? I'm terrified of it happening again. I'm mid 50s reasonably fit and well, don't really want to shut up shop!

I have no advice I'm afraid but I often get this when dancing, a horrendous pain in the back of my skull that comes on like a thunderclap. I assume it is like some exercise induced migraine type thing, although never have migraines, so am possibly making that up. You have my sympathy, it's horrible.
