Children in need ideas please

Wasn't sure where to put this. Hope ok.

DH 7 has to wear something spotty or neon for CIN Friday. We have neither and I hate going out and buying tat for one day. We have no old tops to adapt and I don't want to put him in a T-shirt, too cold.

Any ideas? Have tried looking for those fabric spots you can temporarily stick on a plain top, without ruining it though, but don't Know what they are called. Has anyone done this successfully?

Buy a small square of felt, about a quid, cut out some circles and sew onto a top (single stitch, different colour thread to the top). Snip stitches to remove at end of day, job done.

Or neon face paint, got some from the entertainer for about a quid a few months ago.
