My lovely uncle passed away two weeks ago, his absolute favourite song was Bring Him Home .
The night he died my gran phoned me very upset saying she’d heard Bring Him Home on strictly (this was a fortnight ago) and she was confused as to why we never heard it . Genuinely thought she’d had too many brandys or something and forgot about it .
Then earlier this week, played the song at his funeral . Very moving .
And then tonight .. watching strictly - they played the song again ... my word, my mum has only just calmed down . My poor gran phoned again in tears as well .
I know it’s just a coincidence but my goodness, I need a drink I think !!
