Stupid question alert...

I bought a jumper online (normal high street retailer). It fits, its lovely, all good. Thought I would buy some trousers to go with it so looked at thse site again to find all knitwear was 25% off. So I have bought the jumper again and done click and collect so my husband can pick it up.

If he takes the original delivery note of the one at full price, can he return the second one to the shop straight away and be refunded the full price, or would he have to take the actual original jumper?

TLDR: do shops barcode stuff so each individual item is identifiable or is it just be style and size? It is exactly the same item.

Thanks!

I've done this before. It's a big naughty, but as long as the tags/barcodes are the same you can return the second one with the receipt from the first one.

Oh that's sounds encouraging. It just means I can wear the original one now rather than waiting!
