ASDA - charging twice

Anyone been charged twice by ASDA recently...?

I went on Friday, paid at self check out with my card and the payment looked like it went through but the balance stayed the same and no receipt came out. Called the woman over who spoke to me like I was stupid and told me I mustn't of put my pin in 🙄 she reassured me if I got no receipt I haven't paid. Paid again.

My sister called me yesterday from a different city and told me the exact same had happened to her (she didn't know about me) so we both checked and have been double charged by Asda!!!

Check your banks - anyone else...?

Ah ok :) one is still pending! I just thought it must be a regular thing or a glitch if it has happened to me and my sister on the same day

If one is still pending it should go back into your account in the next few days. Very annoying though if you needed the money before then

Yes!!! This happened to me on Friday!! I had definitely put my pin number in and then it asked for it again! When the receipt came out it said that the first transaction was void! Better check if they have taken it twice!!

@Mammaaofxx I really think it may of happened to a load of people on Friday! I just can't see how it happened to both me and my sister 250 miles apart within the same few hours! Some coincidence that

This happened to me over a week ago and I still haven't got my money back!

I even asked the man on self service as I was 100% sure I'd put my pin in but my little girl was having a melt down as she wanted to wear the gloves I'd just bought her so i thought maybe i hadnt xx
