Stubhub or viagogo experiences?

Hi there
I desperately want one ticket for a sold-out gig.
I am willing to pay a mark up but don't want to get scammed more than the extra 20 quid I have to pay for being disorganised.
Martyn Lewis says avoid Viagogo like the plague, others claim stubhub is safer with paypal but still not 100%
Have any of you had positive experiences with either or did you get burnt?
many thanks in advance Flowers

Have you tried Twickets? They don't mark up tickets. You just pay for the face value of the ticket ( & possibly a small admin fee. I can't remember ).

Certainly dodgy with Viagogo. Some venues refuse to recognise tickets issued via Viagogo and you'll be left out of pocket and with no entry to the gig ( happened at Ed Sheehan gig last year).

Never heard of the other one but I suspect the same issues.

Just signed up to them for alerts thx
I am wary. DH used viagogo for Pixies tickets earlier this year and got in but said it was close as one ticket did not scan. The woman let it go as both etickets had consecutive numbers and one scanned no problem.
It's a big deal for me as I will be pulling favours/paying a babysitter, driving to venue and sucking up going to the gig alone...so to do all that to not be allowed entry will finish me off but the devil on my shoulder keeps saying Do It, take the risk, you really really want this Wink

We've used Stubhub a few times. We did pay a lot but all the tickets for who we wanted to see we're all priced similarly on there. No problems, tickets arrived on time and we'd used them again if we couldn't get tickets ourselves.

merci monchat Stubhub's mark up is a bit higher than Viagogo.
The latter would cost 53 the stubhub 61. Not a lot in it...original price 30.
What is the difference between mobile ticket, UPS and electronic? Which is the safest option/most likely to get me in? Thx in advance Flowers
