Quick question re car buying cost

Need to buy a car urgently. Seen one that we like advertised at £10k but the quote they have emailed us for finance etc is £10,925. I know there are a few costs but that seems a lot on a second hand car. Anyone know what that would be for? Thanks.

Meant to say, that doesn't include any finance costs, that's just what they're quoting as the cash price.

Ask them what it includes. There will be an “admin fee” of a couple of hundred pounds in there for completing the paperwork, but they may also have added in stuff like a valet before you collect, an extended warranty and DVLA credit card charges for changing ownership. All are likely to be negotiable if you make it clear you can’t afford an extra almost thousand pounds and will look elsewhere.
