What are your short term/long term goals?

I've been thinking tonight about mine, I'm still young (20), no kids but have struggled with severe physical & MH problems since early teens so missed a lot of school.

In Feb next year I am starting an 'Access Module' with the OU to get back into studying, it's only 9hrs a week and finishes in September.

Then I will be studying my Maths & Science (already have my English) GCSE's at a local college at evening classes until July 2021.

Next is to attend university (still unsure as to what degree I would like to do) and further my education.

Finally I would love to achieve a good classification degree and step into a career I love!

What are yours?

Hi! I am in a very similar position actually!
I am 20, currently doing an access course and going to uni or a degree apprenticeship next year..spooky on the similarities! I also suffered with MH so missed out on A levels. It's nice to hear you are (hopefully) moving forward from that and planning a lovely futureSmile

Sounds like you have a great plan in place OP!

Long term goals are to get my kids through private school. And to set up a business which I trained for away from my husbands

Short term goals are to not let being a mother keep kicking my opportunities away from under my feet.

Biggest long term goal ever is to make sure my girls learn enough to make sure they are never reliant on a man

Mine is educational too.

I want to get a certificate to get into a certain industry. I am determined. And work are gonna pay 50% of it.
