Posting here for traffic as we could do with some advice.
Does anyone have any experience of this autoimmune disorder? My DH has just been diagnosed with this following a week in hospital.
He's been ill for weeks and ended up in A and E on Saturday. After loads of tests including a lumbar puncture and lots of blood tests, MRIs and CT scans he's been diagnosed with it, although it's affecting his eyes and vision the most. We don't know what kind yet as lots of the test take time to come back.
He's in his mid 40s and this has been quite a shock as has never been in hospital before.
He has had some minor autoimmune conditions like gout and arthritis prior.
We would appreciate hearing about anyone's experiences as he's been told it's not very common.
