Miscarriage/ Ectopic

Hi there, I’m new to this so apologies if I’ve posted in the wrong area. I just need some support of others who have experienced the same.
I found out I was pregnant 2 and a half weeks ago. I went to the doctors because I had right sided groin pain and went for an early scan at epu. Which they found nothing but my blood bHCG was doubling every two days.
Last Friday I had another internal scan and they couldn’t find anything and my levels were 1700. I started bleeding that afternoon and had another scan and bloods on the Monday. My hcg was 2500 and nothing was on the scan. I went back on Wednesday for another scan and bloods as I was having heavy bleeding with large clots and my blood results had dropped to 1700 so they said I had a miscarriage. My bleeding has now stopped and I went in this morning for more bloods to check they were dropping and they’ve risen to 3000!
Nothing has shown on the scan again and they are saying it’s an ectopic but they can’t find it and want me to have the methotrexate injection Monday morning.
Ive had an ectopic before 8 years ago and ended up losing my left tube. But I remember they was able to find that when my levels were 1200.
I’m exhausted from being in limbo and constant trips to the hospital as well as my partner leaving me to deal with this all on my own. (He is no longer in the picture).
I have no false hope that this will end in a good way but wanted other people to share of their experiences if similar to mine?
Thankyou all x

It was a long time ago now but with my first ectopic my levels got really high but not rising as they should do that coupled with nothing in the uterus meant they knew something was wrong.

Couldn't find baby on the scan despite hunting high and low and ended up having exploratory surgery which found it right at the very top of the tube but grown so big it was about 24 hours away from rupture and wreaked the tube beyond salvage.

Second one was similar with the added bonus that hcg levels did rise within the acceptable thresholds so when I went for my first scan they were expecting to see something normal. That little bugger also hid and again needed surgery to find and remove him (and the tube).

I did ask about drug therapy but because they couldn't find the foetus on the scan they wouldn't and I lost both tubes. However, my tubes were clearly fucked and I suspect i'd never have managed a successful pregnancy had they tried to save them.

Good luck my lovely - it's a very tough experience and I found people focus on the medical rather than the loss which is understandable but tough.

Ps I had twins in the end via ivf so shit story had a good outcome.
