Overheard conversations - kids version

I took my dog out to the park this morning. She’s a border collie so can pick up speed when she wants to. We were cutting across the path towards the playground, there was a mum and little boy a bit further along the path.

As we went past I heard him say to his mum; “ oh mum, that dogs so fast it must be a wolf!”

I felt unreasonably proud of her

Anyone else overheard kids say funny things?

Ds 5 reported back to siblings we had all been to a mother's meeting..
It was parent's evening at school!!

Two boys about 8 on bikes on my estate:
"Bikes go faster when you make the VROOMMM noise"

"How?"

"..... Science innit."
