Best toys for toddler?

Hi I am wondering which is the best toys between toot toot, happy land and little people? My baby is only 6 months old but I want to start buying a set here and there now as they are a bit pricy thanks

Personally the noise from toot toot stuff drives me insane but DS loves it. I don't think there's much between Happyland and Little People, I'd just see what you can buy secondhand.

My dd loves Happyland, particularly the zoo set with the train.

We got DS a Toot Toot garage for his second birthday and he still plays with it all the time and he's nearly 4. It was a total charity shop bargain as well at £3 with loads of cars too!
