Anyone with Vodafone for broadband?

Would you recommend them? My BT contract ended and am facing paying £20 more a month now. I've tried to haggle them down but no luck.

Vodafone had a great deal for 63mb but when I search for reviews all I get is horror customer service stories!

No, not Vodafone but with EE and customer service is brilliant. All UK based call centre staff and they managed to get our line re-routed at no cost to us. They have some good new customer offers atm so worth a look.

We’ve been with Vodafone for a year with their Superfast 2, and haven’t had any issues. The router arrived promptly and was easy to plug in, and I could do it all online which helped! However BECAUSE we haven’t had any issues I can’t really comment on their customer service other than the positive experience of sorting it out online.

Thanks for your replies

@paddingtonbearsmarmalade Have you had any connection/speed issues? That was my concern mostly

@Jem2124 Good to know about EE, I have my mobile with them so would get added data

We are with Vodafone and no issues.

paddingtonbearsmarmalade · 07/11/2019 20:26

@bitsnblobs generally no - sometimes it can be a bit slow (usually when we’re using all the devices at once!) - but never for long. I also like that they have guest WiFi options & controls over devices - I imagine it’s useful for teens!

They’re much better than Sky who we had in our previous flat and vastly better than the awful BT service my mum gets Confused

I have it. No problems. Full speed all the time, good signal. I did have a fault on my phone line recently and spoke to them via online chat, was all fixed within 2 days.

Tigger83 · 07/11/2019 20:42

We had it, awful! Swapped to EE million times better

Dowser · 07/11/2019 21:10

Our broadband, my phone and iPad are all with vodafone.
It’s ok
No better or worse than anyone else

I’ve Been with vodafone with my mobile for 20 years
We get wifi, 25 g on my phone ( paid for) and 15g on my iPad and house phone..but make no outgoing calls on that for £65

If you ring them if Internet is slow they will do what they can to fix it

So only one bad review, that's not too bad!

We had superfast, it was 9mb some nights 😤. Moved to ee in August and now it’s consistently 37-40mb. They were fucking useless.

PandaandCat · 08/11/2019 14:32

Ours with Vodafone is 40mb in the middle of nowhere, had to change phone from EE as you can only use it outside. For phones you can search by postcode coverage (which says EE is rubbish in our area) but I'm not sure if you can get that from broadband.

PandaandCat · 08/11/2019 14:32

for not from

Stillinbedat10am · 08/11/2019 17:01

Been with Vodafone for nearly 18 months and I'm very happy with them. We had some problems initially with the signal dropping out momentarily and randomly but I called them and they talked me through some thing that I seem to recall was called 'changing the channel' over the phone and we haven't had any problems since.
