Help! How long can you keep cookie dough in the fridge please?

Just wondering - I made some cookies at the weekend and didn’t have time to bake all of them so wrapped the cookie dough up right and put in the fridge. It’s a good fridge in the garage that keeps milk etc much better than milk in my little kitchen fridge, which I wouldn’t trust as much.

How long do you reckon it is safe to keep the cookie dough for before baking? One batch has egg in, one batch has milk in and the other just has butter in in case it makes a difference, but they would all still be in date if I were to get the ingredients out to make them now.

They smell fine. And I know you can get cookie dough from the shop or it’s in ice cream so can obviously be kept for a while under the right conditions - just not sure what those conditions are!

Many thanks in advance for any help!

Not sure about the fridge, but I frequently double batch and freeze!
