I'm stuck in what seems like a labyrinth disaster with DS 8's tablet.
To keep it short, I have forgotten the parental controls password which basically (and unbelievably) means that you have to wipe the whole tablet, all the content, photos, games, and start again.
I thought I'd try and be clever and back it up, but you can't do this without wifi - and guess what, you need the parental controls to access the wifi.
This seems such a fundamental error, that the parent can't easily reset the controls password via an amazon link or similar.
At the moment, the tablet is completely useless because my son can't play games on it, read books, look at his photos etc.
Does anyone have experience of this, or any ideas?
It's caused so much hassle I wish I'd never bought the bloody thing. Even spent 2 days of our holiday in Germany basically on hold to Amazon customer service. Aaaarggh.
