DS 18 hung up the phone this evening and sighed/growled..........
Am I the only one with a work ethic. 
They normally go somewhere in the next county on a Wednesday (sports) they all cried off due to money.
I tried to defend his friends, then realised none of them push themselves.
So I flipped it back, why do you think that is then ?
Silence........... and then, well Dad has at times historically been on stupid gigs/contracts where he left home at 5.00 am on a Monday and come home late on a Thursday, or Friday if it was a bad week.
In the middle of all that, you kept all the balls in the air.
You parented me, you got up and went to work with your head hanging off (local expression for not feeling well at all, covers anything from hay-fever and pneumonia )
He has a part time job, plus college and is putting in the hours.
One friend didn't like his job, so stopped going, guess what...........
One is a trustafarian, but blows cash without managing it.
And one is just. well................................... too laid back for words.
Good to know that it appears to be going in.
