That is all. He looks far too grown up and it freaks me out.

? My kids gave a 7 year age gap? Yes he’s not traditional “cute” tv kid but I like that normal people are being used in adverts,

"creeps you out" what an odd post.

I know it's a massively long thread and it's easy to lose track, but I can't see the phrase "creeps you out" anywhere.

@itllneverfitinthecar 🤣🤣🤣

I did, to be fair, use freaks me out, rather than creeps me out.

I think it's because the ad focuses much more on the young girl as and I think I got the impression initially that the lad is younger than he then turns out to be when it cuts to his shots at the end. It's the contrast in expected vs actual age that threw me.

I've only seen the shorter version too. Clearly I need to pay much more attention. ;)

Iv not seen the advert i dont think

Bunnybigears · 08/11/2019 08:29

I've watched the advert on you tube so I can guess the boys age. I would guess about 12ish. As the owner of a 12 yer old I can see what they are trying to do but I think it misses the mark because the boy in the advert does not appear to be your typical 'too cool for school' 12 year old.

00100001 · 08/11/2019 08:33

I guess about 13?

But I don’t get the advert....

He's supposed to be her brother. And it's about her finding the Christmas magic since her Grandad died. It was filmed literally up the road from my childhood home. And ASDA are giving Tyldesley new Christmas decorations to say thank you Grin (Tyldesley is a bit of a shit hole, the decorations will probably have been robbed/defaced within a week.)
