weight gain

i checked my weight on the weekend and it was 60kg i was so shocked as only a month or two ago it was 56kg. Does the contraceptive pill affect this at all ?
Monday and Tuesday i kept a fast and opened it with healthy food and checked my weight today and it had gone UP by 0.5kg.

Have you gone on the pill recently?

Hmmm I did experience about a half stone weight gain with the pill but it was in the first 3 months,maybe visit to gp?

Fasting/various diets/exercise can make you hold on to water weight which accounts for the .5 kilo.

I lost weight when I first went on the pill and I think it's possible in either direction. However if you're worried it is worth a phone call to your doctor.
