Evening all!

My friend's dog just went rummaging around in a hedge in the middle of nowhere and pulled out a stack of twenties!! They look pretty authentic but obviously aren't because they've got Chinese stamps on them.

Does anybody know what they say? We're so curious as to why they were there, but also, why make fake money and then put an obvious mark on them to show that they are fake? Confused

What say you Vipers? Sorry about the dark photograph btw...my mate took it and she's technologically challenged Grin

No I'm not accusing you of being a troll OP. I'd just report if I thought you were. It's just that some of the same threads crop up again and again.

Kinsters I agree...I'm fascinated by the hell money/ ghost festival theory but having looked up hell money, it's generally much more colourful and obviously fake.

So I think this is something else. It looks exactly like the 'training money' referenced upthread. But there's little-to-no Asian population here so it's still a mystery as to how it got here and what it was doing in my friend's hedge! To put this in context, she lives by a road, on a row of three houses that are out in the country. It's not even a village Confused

My guess is that people are buying this money to try to use in shops and that somebody dumped some of it in the hedge to get rid?
