Hen do ideas

So I'm arranging my own hen do in the summer. I'd like to have a day thing that kids and the older generation would be able to come to but is still fun but I'm a bit stumped for ideas!

For the night I'm thinking a thai meal with cocktails somewhere local and then whoever wants to can continue out into town for a few drinks. Does that sound ok?

Sounds perfect to me!

Kids on a hen do?

Do you have kids?

Stiltons · 06/11/2019 21:54

Yes I have kids- and a few family children as bridesmaids. I'd like them to feel involved but will pack them off home with their dads for the evening events! Afternoon tea is a nice idea. I was thinking of some kind of fun activity too but just not sure what would be good for all ages.

Any ideas?

I recently went to a Paint Republic event which was brilliant, but in the evening - is there something similarly 'crafty' in your area that you could do in the afternoon?

Bowling followed by afternoon tea?

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 08/11/2019 14:00

How old are the kids?

Stiltons · 08/11/2019 15:50

The kids are 8-11. I hadn't thought of something crafty actually- that's a good idea. I will have a look

Quite a few of those 'paint a mug' type places are popping up in my city, I'm sure there are plenty of similar activities around! Good luck 🙂

Hire a narrowboat for the day! Great fun

I would have an afternoon tea party but definitely no kids. Even my own
