I'm feeling so lonely and kind of down at the moment and just cant seem to snap out of it. My husband is away for another 3 weeks after already being away for 5 weeks with work. I know I just need to snap out of it but I just cant seem to motivate myself. I'm just feeling to lonely. I'm doing all the normal things with the kids. How do you get over this?

Do you have depression? Have you spoken to a G.P.? You can't just snap out of it I'm afraid because it's really not that simple. Write down maybe what's making you feel so down then make another list about how you can deal with each one.

Hi there, sometimes we all feel about down and lonely, days can feel really long and dull especially if your the only adult around. Why not try and get out with other parents, go to a club with the kids? I've got a 4month old and an 11 year old and I'm alone from when I get up till 7pm. I try and focus on the good parts of the day, getting small jobs done, getting the baby asleep, getting a cup of tea. Small triumphs. But if I think stress - I feel stress and feel alone. Hope you feel better soon.Smile
