British Sign Language - anyone?

Anyone learning? I started a Pre-Level 1 course in September and I'm really enjoying it - just wondered if anyone else is learning it and how they're getting on . Wondering how long it takes to be fluent with finger spelling, it's like any language I suppose, just practice and eventually it sinks in!

I sign and have done for a few years.

start using it when you're talking to someone on the phone or when you're out and about. You'll pick it up much quicker when you use it daily.

I did the level one course about ten years ago. I still remember the alphabet which I learned in primary school and can fingerspell quickly. Unfortunately as I have never needed to out bsl into practise I have forgotten everything I've learned!

Sorry, so my advice is to keep practising. Good tip.above about doing it on the phone.
