Less plastic christmas!!

I am trying to reduce the amount of plastic tat that we have, for both environmental reasons and just because it drives me nuts!!

However, dd(4) has just started her Christmas list and every single item is plastic rubbish, think lol junk and twisty pets, hatchimals. I really don’t want to completely disappoint her so may get 1 lol doll, but otherwise I am trying to think of better alternatives but am drawing a blank

She already has a bike, scooter and trampoline. Does anyone have any brilliant suggestions?

maybe you could get things with those characters on, and then one of each toy (so one LOL doll and one Hatchimal?) there are things like LOL umbrellas and hatchimal colouring and reading books available. that way you are following the 'theme' but it's less/no plastic. do you think she would like something like this? We got a similar one for dd1 (now 15) and saved it for my youngest 2 who love playing in it.

She would love that! Great ideas about making them related but not just plastic too. Will have a look around. Thank you!!
