Cards Against Humanity - what is it and is it suitable for a teenager?

Keep hearing about this must have game but not sure what it is. Heard my 14 year old chatting to his friends about it and was wondering whether to buy for him for Xmas. Anyone tell me more?

I played it with my parents, who are in their 60's. I thought they would be the ones who were shocked... 😯

DD has been playing it since she was given some for Christmas at age 16.

It is so wrong in many ways, yet darkly funny when played in a slightly drunk group. IMO 14 is too young.

Some people try to be as offensive as possible and make so called jokes about the worst possible life trauma one could experience (Comforted someone crying in the toilets about rape jokes made during this game). I don't think it's funny or age appropriate personally.
But depending on the group, people might choose to play it less offensively I guess?

Totally inappropriate, non- pc and quite disturbing. I can imagine it’s the type of game that a 14 year old’s older 18 year old would be playing that seems cool!

Quite fun as an adult but absolutely not for a child/teen.
