What would you like as a thankyou gift? I had a keyhole procedure yesterday and was blown away by the care in the day case unit (tbh our local hospital is pretty amazing)

I would like to take a thankyou present in but not sure what would be best? Big tin of biscuits? Pens?

Thanks

Edible - biscuits or tin of chocs. Has to be less than £20 in value in most trusts.

Thankyou sparkle, didn't know that about the £20 value, will definitely bear that in mind

A thank you card naming staff who you think were great. It's lovely to receive but also we can use these for our revalidation so really useful too.

frogsareflyinginfromthewest · 05/11/2019 11:49

**Itmustbe, thankyou, I have jotted down names, so will include all I can remember

Nice mugs, tea, coffee and biscuits Or a fresh fruit basket.
A letter to the manager stating the names of the staff (goes towards their revalidation).
Nurses always like black pens!
The best thing is to feel appreciated.

Chocolates always get scoffed in my team Grin

Thankyou butterfly* and bored*. I could do a hamper for under £20 to include the above. Plenty of stuff on offer in the supermarkets atm.

Tea coffee and biscuits. If you write cards with names we can keep them for revalidation.

What a lovely thing to read, pleased you've had such good care. I second/third about a card/letter. Black pens are a thing of joy for many HCPs, as they tend to sprout legs and walk from your pocket just as they are needed!

BlueCookieMonster · 05/11/2019 16:32

Nice biscuits, tea bags, some crisps and a jazzy bow and they’ll love you.

frogsareflyinginfromthewest · 05/11/2019 16:34

Nice teas, coffee.Biscuits are nice but they all get eaten so quickly that those not on shift that day miss out.
