Having a sandwich before I start. It's a few hours 4 days a week.
I'm bricking it and want to cry and run away.
I've got MH and mobility issues and am so scared it s all going to go tits up in every direction for the 1st week.
I feel like I'm 15 years old.

I returned to work two years ago after 12 years as a SAHM. In the time I was at home, I’d had 4 dc and it had become apparent to me that one dc had ASD and I had a huge battle to get it diagnosed, then another dc also diagnosed. I was treated pretty shit by professionals, and it really knocked my self confidence also. Couldn’t believe that I had gone from a confidence, financially independent women who had brought her own house in her 20s, to being completely dependant on Dh for money. It’s all fine, needs must and I cannot regret taking the time to get the dc diagnosis, EHCP etc sorted, in the face of massive opposition and everyone calling my parenting into account.

Two years on from retraining and now getting paid in a week what I used to get paid in a day (14 years ago), I have actually gained my old drive (albeit in a different way) and at 48, I can see some career development ahead of me over the next 10 years. I’m glad the first day went well, and I hope you regain confidence quickly.
