Hi everyone,

Just looking for some lunch suggestions for my 2 year old.

He doesn't really like sandwiches and I've got stuck in a crackers, cheese, ham and veg sticks rut.

Thank you

I've just made some baked beans, to have with toast, or on a jpot.
Also just made a parsnip n carrot soup, which is sweet so I know it'll go down well.

I tend to go between Cheese and Crackers, Omlette, Banana pancakes and toasties.

Spanglyprincess1 · 04/11/2019 15:40

Dip dip soup. Sweet potato jackets (mine won't eat potatoe still) with beans or veg chilli.
He likes to make pancakes and puff pastry flat tarts. Rol it out nad he helps shove topping on then in oven - 20 min and done.

We often have soup - often made from vegetables from the community fridge, so almost free, homemade, and very nutritious.

(In case that sounds a bit smug, I’ll mention here that my house is a pigsty Wink)

TiceCream · 04/11/2019 16:13

Beans on toast
Birds Eye waffles
Kids pizza (low salt) topped with extra veg
Pasta with sauce
Egg and toast
Fish fingers and garden peas
I often make extra dinner the night before so we can have leftovers for lunch

Eggybread/ French toast

Try this app- apps.apple.com/gb/app/lunchbox-recipes/id1457581918

I’ve got the slow cooker version and the baby led weaning one and both are great. There is also a fussy toddler one.

MsChatterbox · 04/11/2019 16:17

Cook a batch of pasta and store in fridge in airtight container. Should be good for about 5 days. Each day add diff things to the pasta (e.g cream cheese, tomato puree and cheese, Tuna and Mayo)

meepmoop · 04/11/2019 16:17

These are all great, thank you

Have you tried the Baby led Weaning guide and recipes app yet? Best thing I did was install this on my phone! My Toddler loves the food. www.babyledrecipes.com/
