Night nausea

Anyone get random nausea at night? I have been getting these weird nausea feelings at different hours of the night. I feel like I’m going to be sick and it will keep me awake, it is almost like motion sickness and sometimes I feel a lump in my throat.
I’m not pregnant, I had my gallbladder removed several years ago. No pain with the nausea. Early 40s. I thought it might be heartburn, but I have never had heartburn before that hasn’t actually felt like something burning. It’s disturbing my sleep so much. No other symptoms and the nausea feeling passed after an hour or so after it intensifies so I am convinced I am about to be sick, but nothing happens and then I fall asleep as I usually so tired.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced similar, and if so what was it?

I get the lump in my throat feeling at times and have put it down to gastric reflux. Mine seems to be stress related but it could tie in with laying down at night? Maybe it passes once you sit up or move about the to feeling unwell?

Should say due to feeling unwell

Yes I think that’s likely. I think I am generally stressed at the moment. I will make a gp appointment but as this isn’t every day I have been putting off going.
