Why do I have pins and needles?

😫 for over 5 hours I’ve had a horrible feeling of pins and needles/numbness in one arm, right from the top of my arm (but not my shoulder) down to the fingertips. Also very slight tingling in the opposite fingers. What is going on??

Side effects of meds or

Trapped nerve or

Anxiety

Well that’s what I’m always being told by my GP anyway.

I’m probably going to worry you unnecessarily here, but Google “heart attack symptoms in women”. Altho don’t know if would go on for 5 hrs? Ring 111 for advice.
Alternatively I get pins and needles because of trapped nerves in my neck - sorted by an osteopath. But that was in fits and starts not 5 hrs at a time.

AnxiousJ are you OK? Really hope so.

Sorry, I forgot about this thread 🙈 I think it was a pinched nerve in my neck maybe, I noticed an area that felt very sore in my neck. A good stretch and massage later, the pins and needles stopped.

No sign of a heart attack!

Thank you Smile
