What is this weird gurgling?

For the past few days I've had a very odd 'gurgling' sort of feeling on my right side, just below my ribs. I can't feel any bubbling/gurgling if I touch my side with my hand when it's happening. It doesn't hurt, just feels very strange. It's been happening quite a lot, several times an hour maybe? Confused
What is it?!

is it peristalsis?

FelixFelicis6 · 03/11/2019 11:49

I’m sure I’ve read about that being a sign of something serious, though I could absolutely be misremembering!! So just bumping so more knowledgable people can see this!

I forgot to add you can't hear anything like you can when your stomach rumbles. It's literally just this bubbling/gurgling feeling.

Any issues swallowing?

MrsPellegrinoPetrichor · 03/11/2019 14:41

Wind!

No issues swallowing, and I'm pretty sure it's not wind, trapped or otherwise.

Your stomach / intestines. Try drinking some cooled boiled water x
