I really want to go see it next weekend when we're in London with dc.

Would a 6/7 year old be able to endure it?

I think that's too young to be honest. It's a fantastic show but the themes aren't for children and I don't think they would enjoy it.

I'd agree. I loved it but it's not suitable for children. The subject of it interested me as I remember the events happening, a child wouldn't grasp the significance of the events. Although it is very uplifting there also moments of pain and grief which could be too much for her.

I wouldn’t take a child that young to be honest. Not only is their a lot of pain and grief (as well as joy and laughter) but it runs with no interval so no toilet opportunity for the whole show.

It is a fantastic experience... just maybe not for your DC just yet.

Thank you! Will see if there's any chance I can fit in going alone or with mil in that case!

I'm going to see it for the third time at Christmas.
The first time the idea of it scared me - a musical about 9/11!
I found it very life-affirming and better the second time.
I don't think it is a musical for children.
The affirmation comes from knowing the horror; 'sharing' the feelings of those on the stage. For me it reminded me of desperately trying to contact my partner on 7/7, who was at a conference in London.
Please go and see it by yourself or with other adults. Take tissues. x

D3finitely not for a child but it's the best musical I've ever seen, and I've seen a few in my time!
