Just checked my bank account and I've had a payment go in from tax credits but when I check my online tax account it's not showing in the payment schedule - it's quite a significant amount and is very welcome but I don't want to touch it in case it's been paid over in error!
I have just updated the income for the year 2018/2019 which was significantly less that what I had estimated (self employed) so was expecting a back payment but I'm just concerned it's not showing on my tax credits account.
Any ideas or do I wait for the paperwork or should I spend hours on the phone to check it out?
