Post C Section

Hey Mummas,

I'm looking for some advice.

TMI warning - I had a C Section nearly a week ago (recovering really well I think) however, after going to the toilet today I thought things didnt feel right with my Vagina so I took to the hand mirror.
Wasnt prepared for what I saw, my Clitoral Hood is huge and kind of resembles my DS balls. It doesnt hurt at all and feels soft/ squishy.

Please, please share any thoughts or experience because I'm freaking out. The only reason my Vagina got touched was to insert a catheter so this has completely baffled me?!

You need to ask your midwife to look not a HV. Ring them and ask them to come out.

Was it an emcs or an elcs?

Did you look down there during pregnancy? Mine swelled so much and looked huge for a while after my emergency section. It was blue as well because of the blood flow being restricted down there!

Not sure if it helps but I had section 8 weeks ago. Day after I was really sore in vagina and asked midwife because I was baffled. She said they had to remove some really big clots that way, so you may have had the same? I wasn't expecting that area to have any involvement 😂

Wow thanks so much for your responses.. my midwife said it sounds like it could just be swollen from hormones etc but she is due to come to the house next week so she said she will have a look.
It doesnt hurt or anything but just looks like a case of embarrassing bodies 🙈.
It was Emergency Section after induced hormone drip contractions ALL DAY! Glad that's over lol.
So weird to have anything happen there.
