Please can anyone give me some advice for a friend?
She's in a horrible situation with young children and an abusive husband still at home. They're in debt due to his reckless spending. She wants a divorce but in the meantime doesn't want to be financially connected to him as he's spending everything he can on himself. Can she claim any benefits as a single parent while he's still living with her, or can she only do that when/if he goes?
