Had family around tonight and as always over catered... what can I do with two left over naan breads? Will they do ok as croutons or breadcrumbs? Any other ideas?

Naan bread pizzas!

Sauce, cheese and toppings and pop under the grill until hot and bubbly!

I’d put them in the fridge then tomorrow morning warm them through gently and have scrambled eggs on top, oh my life delicious.

FamilyOfAliens · 02/11/2019 20:44

Same as goaway but with dal on top as it fits better with the flavours.

CosmoK · 02/11/2019 20:49

Heat them up and dip them in soup.... .normal bread with soup just won't cut it anymore!!

Flouncysinatra · 02/11/2019 20:50

Ooh should have said - they’re already cooked

With grated cheese under the grill!

Hide behind a door and slap your OH around the face with them?

Cut the top open and wear them as slippers?

Dry them out and use as frisbees?

littlemisssugarpuffs · 02/11/2019 20:58

If you wrap them in foil OP they will still stay soft and fresh till tomorrow, the soup idea sounds yumm I normally just make some mince meat kebabs and warm up the naan and dab abit of butter on add cucumber and kebabs

littlemisssugarpuffs · 02/11/2019 21:00

@MiddleClassProblem why doesn't somebody slap you in the face with a naan bread?

Flouncysinatra · 02/11/2019 21:01

@middleclass - I have considered using them as insoles for dh - he has overly large feet

Because I’m Indian so that might seem racist

Cracklycaramel · 02/11/2019 21:03

Pizza. All my children like them, which is incredibly rare cos the fussy swines conspire to never agree on anything.

Left over naan smeared with red pesto. Add grated cheddar and parmesan, mozzarella if you have it. Dot over some green pesto and add some bits of chicken if you have it but that's not essential.

MiddleClassProblem · 02/11/2019 21:03

@Flouncysinatra pillowy soft. I think it’s a good shout and the can be cut to size for a bespoke service.

Titsywoo · 02/11/2019 21:09

Do a dishoom style breakfast with bacon, cream cheese and chilli jam as a sandwich mysoutheastlondonkitchen.wordpress.com/2014/12/20/bacon-naan-roll/

Jesse70 · 02/11/2019 21:10

Your allowed to feed ducks bread again I'm sure they would like some naan

Swisskit · 02/11/2019 21:16

What is "left over naan bread"? Grin

Rockbird · 02/11/2019 21:19

Personally I would heat up some curry sauce and sit with a bowl and dip them in it. But that's why I'm fat.
