Not at all, it's showing that you do care, but there is no one who represents you and your interests. If you don't go at all, that's just apathy.

I will. In the European electrion I used it as an opportunity to say how disappointed I was and disillusioned with the whole situation.

But surely not going and voting also shows that there’s nobody who represents you? It doesn’t just mean someone is apathetic

I've counted the votes loads of times, it is pointless because it's quickly shown to the candidates and nothing is really taken from it. Although my personal favourite spoilt ballot was the person who tore it up into about 20 pieces and we had to piece it back together

Mil spoiled her ballot cos she just had to be an arse 🙄. She made DH drive her (across the road) to do it. Why not just not bother instead!

Likethebattle I think there is more of a statement made if it is spoiled rather than just not showing up. I’d just not go but then everyone that doesn’t vote is labelled lazy etc so the reason for not voting doesn’t come across.
