DS is in a happy, smiley mood and keeps getting so close to a proper giggle and I'm determined to get it out of him Grin

I look like I've absolutely lost my marbles and I've got some proper gummy grins but I'm running out of ideas. What made your babies laugh?!

Tickle him

FoxOnABox · 02/11/2019 13:04

Surely it has to be this?

emwithme · 02/11/2019 13:29

Pretending to eat her (toes/cheeks/neck) complete with over-the-top chomping and omnomnom noises always gets a proper giggle.

How old is your DS?

Heymummee · 02/11/2019 13:37

My toddler always loved me sniffing his feet and doing a really over the top POOOOOOO THEY STIIIIIINK and jumping back in fake disgust.
Also pretending to eat him made him howl.

StickyToffeeTart · 02/11/2019 13:47

Another vote for pretending to eat him 😂 or peekaboo

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 02/11/2019 14:01

Make a 'Pop' sound with your finger in the inside of your cheek ( it gets sore after the 20th time though)

Or Peek-a-Boo with a muslin cloth

AtLeastThreeDrinks · 02/11/2019 14:45

All babies I've known crack up when you place a muslin over their face and then pull it away. Like proper chortling giggles, it's brilliant!

Tobebythesea · 02/11/2019 14:57

Following! Mine is 12 weeks and he laughs like a hyena in his sleep but not during the day!

Seeline · 02/11/2019 15:00

Blowing raspberries on their neck or stomach

Daffodil2018 · 02/11/2019 15:06

Put a tea towel over your face and do a big exaggerated "aaaaa-CHOO!" sneeze so it falls off and onto the baby. This is a guaranteed chuckle fest in my house.

queenofmycastlex · 02/11/2019 15:18

My DS used to giggle at any words with an ‘oo’ in them when he was tiny - especially the word moon (said mooooon)

summedup · 02/11/2019 15:25

Pretending to eat them

Peek-a-boo

Fake exaggerated sneezes

Grin
SilverySurfer · 02/11/2019 15:58

Have a serious expression, say POO and then say nothing - always used to work with my nephew when he was little. Bum is another that always works Grin

MarchingAnts · 02/11/2019 16:04

The most random thing in the world. For me, the first time was out walking her in the pram and I swatted a fly away from her face... well she thought this was the funniest thing she'd ever seen in her life. So I kept making the swatting motion and we were both in fits of giggles for a good few minutes after.
