Freezing creme fraiche

I'm making a slow cooker recipe in which you add creme fraiche 15 minutes before the end. I'm making double the amount, so I can freeze some. Does anyone know if the creme fraiche sauce will freeze okay, or will it separate? I could take out some to freeze before adding the creme fraiche, but I'm never organised enough to buy it when I want to eat the frozen meal, iykwim!

Should be fine, just be careful not to boil when you reheat.

I've never had any problems with it. It might separate and not look very pretty but it will be ok.

Not boiling it when you re-heat sounds like a very bad idea Confused.
