I think this would be a good idea. She can ask it to play the radio or music and read audiobooks and send me shopping lists

But I’m not sure if she can use my prime account or if I need to set up a new one for her. I’ve got an old kindle fire of my sons and I think he’s in my household would that be enough? I’ve looked it up and that has really confused me. And then I asked Alexa and that was worse!

I just need a bit of a list of things I need to do to start it up for her as I’m feeling very slow of thinking today.

I got one for my dad's car 76th birthday and he loves it..... hours of fun. Just be prepared that all the setting up and fixing problems will be your job. If that won't irritate you then go for it.

Sorry that was pretty unhelpful for what you were asking. My brother set it up but it did need to be done through dad's own account I think. I'd never have bought it if dB hadn't taken responsibility for the setting up as it seems pretty complicated if you don't know what you're doing.

You don't need prime apart from music (you need prime or Spotify, but Spotify family is handy in such circumstances!)
