Just returned from holiday and slept so well as the bed was so comfy. Our mattress is 7 years old and just done in. I'm a side sleeper and my husband is a fidget. Can anyone recommend a good quality mattress that's medium? So many reviews I've got lost

Did you check the brand of the mattress on holiday? We’ve got a Vi Spring and it’s amazing. Can be made up of two different halves if you and DH like different things.
For a more budget option, Ikea actually has fab mattresses.

Ikea Hovag is a brilliant mattress. It comes in medium or firm versions...we have the firm one and it's the best mattress I've ever had.

Premier inn uses Hypnos mattresses so I’m told. I think they are great.
