...the toddler who has caught you putting into the food waste the remnants of his porridge he insisted he didn't want... I'm in Big Trouble for not scraping his (supposedly finished) food back into his bowl!

My dd (2) also did this to me today.
Hummus and cut up pitta bread for a snack... finished eating it, I cleared it away and put a tiny bit of half eaten pitta in the bin = toddler went mental.
Did she want some more pitta? No.
She wanted me to fish the bit I’d chucked away out of the bin !

This is why my children get to make the non decision. Not worth the stress.
