I have 1 DD who will be 8 when our new baby is born. Circumstances and secondary infertility have meant we’ve had no choice about this age gap. Would just love to hear some experiences from others about how this size of gap worked for you? I do worry that it’s much too big and they won’t be close. Also shitting myself about going back to the beginning with nappies and sleepless nights when I’m used to having a lovely self sufficient DD who can wipe her own bum, so would love to hear your experience of that too.
